This Sunday we would like to join and praise the recognition Isabel Muñoz, a photographer from Barcelona, has received due to her work. Past Thursday November the 17th, Muñoz was awarded with the Premio Nacional de Fotografía 2016, by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport. The jury has emphasized on her outstanding career, where she blends her social commitment with the quest for beauty, ‘delving in topics such as the human body, the rituals and the cultural diversity… With the singularity of her process in which she applies the traditional technique accompanied with a contemporary language. As a true visionary of her craft, her works depict an instinct in constant exploration’, as the jury stated.
